This powerful piece, created in 2004, might be read as a contemplative exploration, firstly, of the eroded surfaces of a winter landscape and, secondly - perhaps more significantly - of Man's relationship with Nature. It could be described as sublime (in the Edward Burke sense). As such, it offers a perpetual challenge.
The work is presented in what we believe to be the artist's own box frame.
