Enquiries and Purchases

We are very happy to discuss any aspect of a work of art or a potential purchase with our clients.

Please feel free to ring or email, to make any enquiries or to discuss a purchase. If you contact us outside office hours, please leave a message and we shall get back to you as soon as possible. We are able to reserve a work for up to 96 hours, to give you time to discuss or consider your decision.

The prices shown include delivery to the UK mainland. Where the law requires, our prices also include the 4% charge, to cover the Artist’s Resale Rights (ARR). If you are an off-shore or overseas client, there are likely to be additional shipping costs. We shall be happy to provide you with quotations for shipping and insurance. Please note that overseas clients may have to pay additional import costs, which will be separately charged and over which we have no control.

Measurements are shown in metric and imperial, with and without the frame, height x width. We describe the medium or materials with which a work has been made. If we are selling a work which we know to have been cleaned or restored, we say so. We distinguish between works of art that are signed or have a clear provenance and those which are ‘attributed to’, or ‘in the manner of’ an artist - on the basis of style or subject matter, for example. We do our best to secure accuracy – our reputation depends on it – but we may make mistakes. Should there be any difficulty or disappointment, please get in touch as soon as possible.

Any works which you buy without having seen the original (for e.g., which you order over the phone or via email) may be returned to us, if you notify us within 7 working days from receipt of the goods. The goods must be returned to us within 14 days, at purchaser's cost, in the same condition as they were received. On receipt, we shall make a full refund of all monies paid to us.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or by cheque (contact details will be provided). If you choose to pay over six months, interest-free, we shall send the work to you when your final cheque has been cleared.

Following your payment, we shall send a full receipt, including a summary of information about the work of art you have purchased.

We always protect your privacy. We do not share any information about our clients, unless it is for the purposes of processing payments, making arrangements for delivery, or as the law requires.
